Hotel Reservations

You can make your hotel reservations online, by clicking the more information link below, or by calling +1-866-277-4529. Please mention the EMA 2019 Spring Meeting when making your reservation. The EMA special group rate will be available until March 10 or until the room block is sold out. Reservation requests received after March 10 or once the room block is full will be accepted on a space and rate available basis. A deposit equal to one night’s room rate is required to hold each reservation.

Opening Keynote Speaker

David Williams, Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors, United States Postal Service, will discuss the current challenges facing the Postal Service and the opportunities he sees for its future.

Closing Keynote Speaker

Randy Zook, President & CEO, Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce & the Associated Industries of Arkansas, will provide a description of efforts to improve the availability and the effectiveness of career and technical education in both the K-12 system and post-secondary institutions.

Men's/Women's Scramble Golf Tournament - $190

Canyon Course - This 6,836-yard, par-72 course winds through the inspiring beauty of Esperero Canyon and incorporates the massive rock formation known as Whaleback Rock. The par-5 18th hole showcases a partial island green and a steep, cascading waterfall. Golf Digest Magazine recognizes Loews Ventana Canyon as one of the top 75 Golf Resorts in America.

EMA Yoga Class and Mimosas by the Pool - $40 per person

Start your morning off with a beginners' yoga class especially for EMA spouses and guests. Yoga uses breathing techniques, exercise and meditation to help improve health and happiness. No prior experience necessary. Afterward, enjoy a continental breakfast and mimosas near the pool, under the Arizona sunshine.

Glassblowing Class - $159 per person

Experience making glass art first hand. Tour the Glass Studio, the gallery, the Flame Shop, the Warm Shop, and the Hot Shop, (each focusing on torch-working, kiln-firing, and glass-blowing respectively), and the sculpture garden. You will make a glass project alongside an experienced instructor. Once it has cooled, you will get to take home your glass piece.

Cactus & Cocktails - A Night of Dinner, Dancing and Fun

Put on your cowboy boots and come hungry as you head to the Kiva Patio for an evening out west. You’ll be greeted by Doc and Wyatt, have the chance to put on a costume, get your photo taken and even see who draws a gun the fastest! Enjoy the evening with country hits performed by Sapphire Sky and mingle amongst colleagues while under the starry sky of the Southwest.
